When you come to Dave's, you may notice that we're pretty laid back. We don't believe in schedules. Your time on the River shouldn't be wasted paddling like a madman to reach a take-out point. It should be spent relaxin'! Come on in and you tell us when to pick you up. You know, as our name implies, we'll even shuttle your own equipment. Even Dave has said "Goonga, Goonga La Goongala!" , Which translates to "Come on down and enjoy the Namekagon River of the Upper St. Croix National Scenic Riverway"!

Adding to your River experience is a complete line of groceries, beer, liquor, ice, bait, fishing and camping equipment, and canoe and kayak stuff at the Hitchin' Post General Store right next door.
